thankful

We have been reading "The Joy of Giving" and really committed to let the Lord have everything.  And my husband promptly fell off of the roof and broke his neck and thumb and has a 6 inch gash in his head.  We have no insurance..the very day we made that committment to give!
Guess the Lord is taking us at our word!  Although, let me make this clear, God didn't cause the accident.  We did.
The prayer of Jabez keeps coming up.  God will provide..HE always does.
I became very discouraged and concerned.  But in that discouragement I sought out a prayer partner.  She said, "be specific".  I am.
I made several batches of soap and couldn't figure out how to give of the "first fruits" of soap..then it hit me..give to the homeless.
So, I imbedded the word, "hope" in the soap, put some cosmetic glitter on the soap and wala..giving it to women in a homeless shelter.

Today is the day the Lord hath made!

Heard from the builders today that they will complete my building next week!  Yea.  Made sugar scrub with turbinado sugar and spearmint/eucalyptus fragrance......mmmmmm wonderful.  Then made a batch of brownies......yum!  Stay tuned for next week.

My first blog

I have been thinking about this all night.  It's time to wake up and smell the coffee and start blogging.  I know it's a God thing!  Tomorrow I will start posting.  This is me!
